Mountain Biking

First Ride 1991 first Gary Fisher Paragon Fine 7 speed xt or xtr fine for East coast rollers

2005 Second and current ride Yeti 575, a upgrade to disc brakes, and 9 speed for the mountains of Colorado.

My training ride and profile:

I like this 2 hour ride (in yellow), its a steep uphill to a technical down hill that, quite frankly, can be a little dangerous. An extra loop can be added its called the Button Rock Loop which would connect at the black trail leading off the map at the bottom left of the pic making the total length 13.8 miles. I describe the ride as training because I can ride it from home and do about once a week except in winter.

I don't ride other areas very often so I'd be interested in knowning how the uphill grade compares to your trails. The trails in black at pictures top right, lead to sweet bouldering areas 5.8 to V3.

Expanding the rides further south there are two loops, eastern loop is around an unnamed peak and the loop south is around Button Rock Mountain. The trail leading off the map on the bottom goes into Johnny Park as shown below. Coulson Gulch and one branch of Saint Vrain River are at the bottom of this image.
