Bargaining Updates

January 8, 2024

The REA’s bargaining team and the district’s bargaining team had their first bargaining session on January 8th. After introductions, the two teams were able to establish ground rules and common agreements. The REA then presented their initial proposal to the district team. REA communication about the bargaining process and decisions will be provided at REA meetings and on the REA website. Approved minutes will be posted on the district website beginning at the next bargaining session, January 22nd. If an REA member would like to view the initial proposal, they need to request access from Amanda Sandoval at asandoval@roseburg.k12.or.us

Although the bargaining process has just begun, both teams were able to tentatively agree upon articles 1,2, 13, and 14.
