Water cart used by Roscoe's volunteer fire department in 1906, drawn by Laura Fay Duncan from the memory of Bessie Kessler, wife of Dave Kessler, one of Roscoe's original firemen.  The barrel was kept full of water at all times.  The cart was man-powered.  When it arrived at the fire, one fireman filled buckets with water while others carried them to empty on the fire.  Then they returned and hung their buckets on the cart to be refilled.
