Roscoe school grounds in 1940

Aerial photo of the Roscoe school grounds in 1940.  The original school building (bottom left) was for primary grades, the old high school building (center left), built in 1924, was for the other elementary grades, and the new high school (bottom center) was only two years old.  Home stands for the football field were on the west (right) side because there were no field lights in those days, so home team fans had the afternoon sun at their backs.
