Dr. Rohan Dutta received the B.Tech.(Hons.) in Instrumentation Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India, in 2003 and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India in 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor and the School Director at Anant School for Climate Action, Anant National University, Ahmedabad. Before starting his new venture, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the IPR Gandhinagar and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, since March 2017. He worked for almost fifteen years in various academic institutes and industries, both pre- and post-PhD PhD including the current position and a postdoctoral position at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. His research interests include process modelling and simulation, large-scale cryogenic processes, fossil fuel-based power plants and methods for CO2 capture from them, and cryogenic energy storage. He has published 49 articles in international journals and national and international conference papers. He also has two Indian design registrations and three Indian patent applications filed/published.
