About Me

Dr. Rohan Dutta received the B.Tech.(Hons.) in Instrumentation Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India, in 2003 and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India in 2014. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, India beside being the proprietor of R-Cube Energy Research that deals with contract research for academia and industries. Before starting his new venture he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India since March, 2017. He worked for almost eight years in various academic institutes and industries both pre and post PhD including the current position and a postdoctoral position at Department of Energy and Process Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. His research interests include process modeling and simulation, large-scale cryogenic processes, fossil fuel based power plant and methods for CO₂ capture from them, and cryogenic energy storage. He has published 28 papers including 12 international journal and eight international conference papers.
