Product Design

With the objective to deliver knowledge based solutions and unique products to support the socio-economic growth of the rural (and urban!) Indians, we are currently working towards development of the following products. Details will be uploaded soon.

• Agro-water management system

• Solar-cooler for households using adsorption and Earth-air refrigeration systems

• Nano-plastic detection in drinking water using paper strip and mobile app (IP awaited)

• Sustainable water purification for Urban informal sector (IP awaited)

• A compact apparatus for measurement of total hemispherical emissivity of opaque materials down to cryogenic temperature. (IN Patent App. 202221054936 A, Granted-2026. (Applied in 2022))

Besides, we are also working towards developing the following products.

• Cryo-grinder for biological sample preparation- In collaboration with SMST, IIT Kharagpur and IIEST, Shibpur, West Bengal, India

• Open source process models and simulation platform for Cryogenic Process Simulation- In collaboration with IIIT Kalyani, India
