Welcome to my homepage. I am a Visiting Assistant Research Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi and a member of the Social Science Experimental Laboratory (SSEL) at NYUAD.
I earned my PhD in Political Science at Florida State University, in May 2013. My primary interests are in economic voting and institutional collective action, with a focus on interest groups and the interaction of competition and cooperation. Further, as an experimentalist, I work with both political economy and psychology experiments, in an effort to bridge the gap between the disciplines and answer questions related to approval of leadership performance and the updating of beliefs, as well as more traditional economic experimental questions involving group decision-making. I work in the design, programming, and implementation of experiments and have previously affiliated with the xs/fs (Experimental Social Sciences) Cluster at FSU.
