Welcome to my homepage. I am a Visiting Assistant Research Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi and a member of the Social Science Experimental Laboratory (SSEL) at NYUAD.
I earned my PhD in Political Science at Florida State University, in May 2013. My primary interests are in voting and collective action, the latter with a focus on the nastier side of other-regarding behavior. I work primarily with economic experiments, but also with formal/game theory and survey methods. Substantively, I seek to answer questions on two fronts: voter turnout, approval, and choice on one; and cheating, discrimination, and spite on the other. I work in the design, programming, and implementation of experiments and have previously affiliated with the xs/fs (Experimental Social Sciences) Cluster at FSU.
