Dog boarding and daycare

My name is Josiah Avery and I am the owner and operator of Rocky Knoll. I began over 10 years ago by caring for the dogs of friends and family, but quickly saw a widespread need for this service in Cook County. Through hard work and dedication, Rocky Knoll has become what it is today, a quaint 8-kennel dog boarding space nestled in the woods! While the lodging dogs may be few, my goal is to provide a loving, home-like environment. I take a family-like approach to dog care, handling each dog customed to his personality. I am a certified pet care professional through Outstanding Pet Care Learning Center and am dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pup while you are away. That is what makes Rocky Knoll the alpha among dog care!

Open hours for dropoff and pickup are 7-10 AM (closed Sunday AM) and 4-7 PM. We can schedule dropoffs/pickups outside of hours, but for times like these, Rocky Knoll requires prior knowledge and an extra $20 charge

BOARDING

Dog boarding for clients that are staying overnight. I strongly recommend a trial stay either with me (if possible) or with your local facility before I reserve a date for you. This helps ensure a positive experience for all parties.

All dogs are treated as family and receive ample love and attention during their stay!

Daily activities include:

-Two 0.5 mile walks on a 25-foot lead

-3 to 5 potty breaks

-Lots of individual Attention (I can't help it!)

-2 feeding times

-Additional activities including extra walks, one-on-one time, treat- filled kongs, and more can be purchased and added on

Price: $35/day plus tax ($20 per additional dog. Maximum two dogs per kennel) Cash, check, credit card, and bank transfers are accepted.

Pricing is charged by any part of a calendar day. Fri night dropoff with Sat morning pickup = 2 days. For boarding, there is a minimum two-day charge.

DAYCARE

Offered Monday through Friday.

Dog daycare prices are for clients who arrive during the AM hours and leave during the PM hours.

All dogs are treated as family and receive ample love and attention during their stay!

-One 15-minute walk on a 25-foot lead

-2-3 potty breaks

-Individual attention

-Additional activities including extra walks, one-on-one time, treat- filled kongs, and more can be purchased and added on

Price: $30/day plus tax ($20 per additional dog. Maximum two dogs per kennel) Cash, check, credit card, and bank transfers are accepted.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Walk: $15/ 15-minutes
One-on-one cuddle or play time: $10/15-minute session
Treat-filled Kong: $2/time
Special goodnight cuddle: $3/5 minute session
Extra feeding time: $3/time

DISCOUNTS

20-day package 1 dog; ($105 off)
20-day package 2 dogs/ 1 kennel; $935 ($165 off)
Local discount: $3 off per day for boarding, $2 for daycare.

CANCELATION POLICY

While I understand that things can come up, I would appreciate at least 48 hours of notice before your cancellation. Otherwise, your card on file will be charged for 50% of the equivalent charge of your original reservation.
