I am an Academic Economist currently appointed as Assistant Professor of Industrial Economics at the University of Nottingham.

I also provide consulting for organisations to develop their Pricing Capabilities and Competitive Strategy. I am a Faculty Consultant for Blenheim Chalcot, London, working directly with VC funded start-ups.

Previously I served as Lecturer in Economics at the University of Liverpool Management School, where I also completed my Economic and Social Research Council Funded PhD.

My main research areas are:

1. Industrial Organisation, Competition Policy and Behavioural Economics. Specifically: Pricing and Competition.

2. Microeconomic Theory & Game Theory: Primarily price games.

My published work has analysed the optimal pricing strategies for retailers, the incentives for firms to deliberately confuse consumers with their pricing and the role of market regulation in addressing this issue.

I regularly participate in international academic and industry conferences. Recently this has included events in the UK, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Greece, Portugal and Spain.
