OUR WARRANTY

At A 4 Autism Painting Company we stand by our work 100%. While many companies do provide a warranty, you will find many clauses, or terms, that allow them the ability to not actually do the work they say they will do. At  A 4 Autism Painting Company we do things right the first time which allows us to provide a warranty that is comparable to no other. 

Here we point out a few things that other companies will say. We then remind you that we do things right the first time. What that means is that we warranty our work because the only time you have failure problems is when things are not completed properly.

One thing you can hear from other companies....

• • The warranty will be effective if, and only if, the customer:

  • has signed off on job completion

  • has paid contract amount in full

  • has completed customer comment card and submitted a positive review

While A 4 Autism Painting will require the contract to be paid in full and signed off accordingly......we will never force a comment card or review. We will always appreciate your comments and reviews but do NOT require it to fulfill a warranty.

As we review other warranties....we see a lot of people stating what their warranty does NOT cover.

Some of these statements include but are certainly not limited to

• • Cost of paint 

A 4 Autism Painting will buy the paint when doing warranty work because if the paint is the problem that is causing failure, the manufacturer buys the new paint. This is however only the case when we originally supplied the products used on your project.

• • Peeling of previous layers

Again, when things are done correctly, we fix the problem correctly in the first place and always use the appropriate products provided by top manufacturers. When you start a project one of the most important aspects is the preparation of the surface. When we come across peeling paint it is handled appropriately and should not give you more trouble.  We typically  use a product called Peel Bond supplied by XIM. This is one of the best products on the market to help stop previous layers of paint from peeling. Be sure to see the picture associated with this product on our Photos and Reviews page.

• • Paint originally supplied by customer

We still warranty our work. If the failure is poor workmanship we supply the same or new product. In a case of product failure the customer is responsible to purchase the paint again If the issue is product failure, the manufacturer tends to honor their warranty and should reimburse you the cost.

• • Any horizontal surface (my personal favorite)

Why would someone NOT warranty a horizontal surface? For one simple reason. They did not use the appropriate product the first time. There are many products that are designed to be applied to horizontal surfaces. When it is these products are applied correctly they will stand up to the elements as described by the manufacturer.

When you receive an estimate from A4APC it is very detailed and explains every aspect of the project. This includes the products we suggest and will be using. We will never deviate from specified products and if we do it is for good reason and will ONLY be done upon written explanation.

Our exterior warranty covers our work for three full years. It IS transferable because it is our work and products that are warrantied......Not the customer.

Interior warranties are valid for five years against product failure or poor workmanship. We can not come repaint over the children's jelly covered finger prints or the dings and dents caused by rearranging things. Most of the suggested products for interior use are very washable and easily touched up. The customer is always left with some of the original paint. We are always happy to send a competent employee in for a day or two to provide his expertise in keeping your home looking new. This can be done as often as you want at an hourly rate that is always discounted for previous customers.
