South Plains

The RLGA is a member of the South Plains Women's Golf Association (SPWGA). Tournaments are played once a month at each participating club. To be eligible to participate in South Plains tournaments, ladies must be a member of both the RLGA (or other golf association affiliated with South Plains) and SPWGA.

There is an annual fee of $55.00 to join the SPWGA. Monthly play day fees are $65.00 per play day including lunch. 

The South Plains Chair will text all RLGA/SPWGA members each month the week prior to the play day.  Members should promptly respond to the text no later than Friday morning to advise if they are playing.  Names are turned in to the golf course by the Saturday prior to the play day. Cancellations must be made before noon on the Saturday preceding the play day. Failure to cancel on time will require payment of the $65.00 fee before being allowed to participate in the next SPWGA play day.

Flights are determined by member's South Plains handicap. Cash prizes are awarded for the Medalist, Low Net of the Field, and in each flight for First Low Gross, Second Low Gross and Low Net. Members with the lowest number of putts in each flight receive a golf ball.
