I have nearly 15 years of experience teaching astronomy, mathematics, and applied computer science courses as the professor of record, as a guest lecturer, as a teaching assistant, and as a review lecturer. Additionally, my two years in industry provided me considerable experience with transforming technical data science concepts to understandable metrics for non-scientist directors, vice presidents, and customers. I have taught courses both in the United States and Argentina which provided me with considerable experience understanding and adapting to cultural sensitivities. As a data science fellow at Vanderbilt University, I participated in data think tanks with scientists in anthropology, sociology, physics, and biology. Finally, during my graduate studies, I received certification from Texas A&M University’s Center for Teaching Excellence for proficiency in science and technical (STEM) education.
