Assessment of Future Needs:
Develop and implement a survey of the community and staff
Conduct individual interviews as needed.
Conduct stakeholder group(s) meeting(s) as needed.
Summarize the data and have the document ready for the two day strategic planning sessions.
Develop/refine mission and vision statements.
Guide the Board of Education through the development/refinement of focus areas for the future.
Train Board Members and Administrators to be part of the process.
Present "Best Practices in Education" component to the Board and the Committee
Develop a Strategic Planning Committee of the stakeholders of the school district (parents, staff, administration, board and community members).
Facilitate the one evening/one morning (Friday evening/Saturday morning) process. Develop a full scale 5-year Strategic Long Range Plan for the School District that includes goals and action plans.
Wordsmith components of the plan that come out of the two day work session.
Develop a brochure to give to the school district to send to the printer.
The Board has the final approval of the recommended document from the committee.
Conduct annual reviews of the Strategic Long Range Plan.
