To Whom It May Concern:
It is my privilege and honor to write a letter of recommendation for Dr. Bob Madonia. On December 19, 2022 the Plainfield 202 school board approved a five year strategic plan that was a direct result of working with Dr. Madonia. The Plainfield school board and community are very pleased with the strategic planning process and final product.
Dr. Madonia is exceptionally organized and possesses outstanding presentation and written communication skills. As a public speaker, he was at ease with the Board, parents, and faculty groups. He was informative, honest, and created a community feeling whether meeting with the Board or community groups. Bob has been highly communicative throughout the entire process, and I felt he was as invested in the outcomes as much as any of the team members.
In preparation of engaging in our Strategic Goal Planning process for Plainfield 202 we conducted a comprehensive investigation of potential facilitators for this process. Several of the school districts we contacted recommended Bob Madonia for this role. Even prior to Board approval, Bob and I spoke frequently about the design and set up of the training, expectations for the meetings, and expected outcomes. His explanations were comprehensive, well thought out, and logical. Outside of the being a strong leader within the Strategic Planning process, Dr. Madonia was able to anticipate potential problems and develop successful solutions. The community group consisted of diverse personalities with a wide range of ideas. Bob was able to direct all group members towards reasonable and well-developed goals that align with the Boards priorities. Whether he was meeting with the Board, Administration, or a combined group, he consistently presented himself in a professional manner.
Without hesitation or reservation, I highly recommend Dr. Madonia as a leader for any Strategic Planning process or professional development training. Dr. Madonia is outstanding and someone who could lead any organization in developing long range or short-term goals.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at (815)577-4069.
Sincerely,
Glenn Wood, Ed.D, Superintendent
