The combined SCUSD+San Jose bid has Agnews! Here are some news posts:

It's not quite finalized yet -- the other bidders still have a chance to lodge protests. And we'd still need to get a bond passed to pay for school construction. Thank you to everyone who helped us achieve this important first step!

This past week we have heard great news about the City of San José and Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) on the conditional selection of the proposal for the state-owned Agnews East Developmental Center. The collaboration is strong and I am thankful for the unconditional support from community members and residents of San José and Santa Clara. At this major point, the City of San José is currently working with SCUSD staff to submit a 1% deposit of the purchase price. I hope to hear more good news down the line and will continue to share the latest news and updates with all of you.
