Goals

The River Oaks Neighborhood Association is dedicated to preserving and improving the quality of life along River Oaks Parkway in North San Jose, California. 

Our primary focuses are currently:

• Maintaining height, density and infrastructure consistency with concerns towards traffic.

• Obtaining a library, community center, and retail services for the area.  

• Obtaining parks, keeping our open spaces, trees and the beautification of our neighborhood.

🎉 Goals Achieved as of 2025

New Parks: 

• River Oaks Park (playground, tennis, basketball, grass, picnic)

• Iris Chang Park (at Epic Way & Coyote Creek)

New Schools: 

• Elementary: Abram Agnew Elementary School

• Middle: Dolores Huerta Middle School

• High: Kathleen MacDonald High School
