          4. Traffic Plan needs 2 things:

              1. General needs of NSJ and River Oaks.

              2. Developed by independent traffic consultant

          5. Conceptual plan for community centers, libraries, unique retail shops

          6. Design guideline needs to be completed.

          7. Timeline developed by the City to provide updates on NSJ project.

            1. Jean: prefers more members from the community in taskforce.

        2. Stakeholders should primarily be residents in NSJ.

        3. Media outreach for taskforce formation.

        4. Taskforce members should be selected by KC.

        5. Emphasis on what could be done from now to August 14th Council mtg.

        6. RONA nominates Mike to be spokesperson for RONA to stay consistent with past practices.

            1. Mike unavailable on most weekends before Labor Day.

        7. Request for a document in writing stating purpose, members, and scope of work in taskforce.

    2. Discussion and Suggestions

        1. Improve VTA shuttle service to fully utilize light rail and busses.

            1. VTA currently accommodating to business instead of the residents who pay for the services.

        2. RONA would like to stay away from Santana Row environment. They prefer neighborhood-friendly shops and plazas such as fruit markets, Whole Foods, local shops, etc.

        3. City underestimating number of children in NSJ.

            1. Most families send kids to private schools due to lack of schools in NSJ.

        4. Request for RONA to meet with Irvine.

        5. Update on Cadence (Essex developments)

        6. Requests more transparency on PDO funds.

        7. There should be a traffic analysis diagram to show flow of traffic and congestion.

        8. Streetlights on Montague need to be re-synchronized.

        9. City should look into Seely overlay.

        10. RONA concern of water shortage, riparian corridor, and NSJ's effect on Alviso's water supply.

        11. Master Plan should include drought resistance plans.

        12. RONA needs bureaucratic push for existing development to use reclaimed water in order to conserve water.

        13. SONY property has not been managed well: dry grass.
