• 1. Candidate forum

     1. • Call for questions to be sent out again this Friday

        • Go over to the school to check out the multi purpose room

        • Press release in Merc News Wed. May 9th 2007 see attachment

        • Jean to call channel 7 to make sure they will be there

        • Mike had a good suggestion regarding the format that was approved

          • • Flip for 3 minute opening statements

            • ~ 20 questions, 2 min responses, alternating who answers 1st

            • 3 min closing statements in reverse order of opening statements

            • Total time 90 minutes with 30 minutes buffer

            • Marcelle is timer with 30 sec and 10 warning cards

  2. One council member left to talk to Pierluigi. Left a message we could talk with him on Friday the 18th

  3. Planning commissioners:

     1. • Xavier Campos- appointment is for May 15th at Starbucks at River Oaks Market place @ 6:30

        • Erik will be talking to Kamkar

        • Zito is the only one left.

  4. Irvine called and said they will be having another community in two weeks (24th?)

  5. Fairfield developer sent me a flyer regarding their project on Zanker and Tasman

  6. See Attachment. We need to be there.

  7. Get more of our neighbors involved and maybe hold one more neighborhood meeting at the Alviso Library to digest what we have learned and come up with a plan for when the Sony property goes before the city.
