River Oaks Neighborhood Association Board Meeting

Thursday March 19, 2009

7:00 PM @ Premier Pizza, River Oaks

Present: Jean, Laura, Mike

• Jean had a bunch of community announcements to pass on to our members, topics including census, recycling event, taskforce meeting, etc. Will post on yahoogroup.

• Need to email for volunteers and plan our overdue elections.

• April 9th: Taskforce reviews Urban Design Guidelines, Jean and Mike to attend. There was apparently a community meeting to discuss them, but no-one from RONA board got an invite either as RONA board or as homeowners. Jean has written CM-Chu's office to complain.

• The possible amendments to the Vision North San Jose policy seem to be still in a state of flux. The most recent information seems to be this memo. Jean will try to find out what's going on.

• 199 ROP project seems to be moving forward with planning process. Cadence/Essex site has just put up for-lease signs, probably not going to build for a while.
