Welcome on Ritmo Fresco website. When creating this platform we had two goals in mind: 1st introduction and 2nd communication.
First, introduction: we would like to tell you who we are, explain our activity and mission on these pages. The community of Ritmo Fresco has dedicated itself to promote dance culture in particular Latino dances (Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Bachata etc.) in Helsinki metropolian area. Well, that was very official but Ritmo Fresco is also about getting to know hot and spicy Latino dances, about having fun dancing, and meeting new people who enjoy dancing. For those who want get to know more about us we have created the About us section. You can also learn about the dances that we teach on our "our dances" page. if you enjoy more interactive way please refer to the media section where you find photos, videos and some Latino music.
Secondly, communication: when creating this platform our goal was also to keep you updated about happenings around Ritmo Fresco. We also want inform you about other related dancing events. On this site you can find information about dance classes, workshops, events, festivals, concerts, shows, parties and any other information of interest to dancers.
If you wish to contact us for booking event services, private lessons, shows or just having some questions we provide you possibility for that on our contact page.

Who we are? What we do? Why we do?
Ritmo Fresco has set the goal to popularize Salsa and other Latin-American dances in Lahti and in its surroundings.
As to the background of Ritmo Fresco we we are here since 2007. Everything started when Viktor arrived from Budapest. At that time Latino dancing was quite limited in Lahti. Coupled up with some dance fans and friends he therefore initiated something to bring "some fresch rythme in town"......
Ritmo Fresco is about getting to know hot and spicy Latino dances, about having fun dancing, and meeting new people who enjoy dancing.
Our Dance teaching philosophy is not about winning medals, earning certificates or competing in competitions. It is many things of which the following are but a few:
Learning how to salsa, with good technique and style.
Having fun
Getting people away from their day to day stressed and routine lives.
Expanding people's boundaries
To meet new and interesting people
And once again - having fun
Our activity includes organizing regular classes, private classes, workshops, participating in different festivals, events and offer event services. Our dance repertoire includes a great variety of styles and dances like Merengue, Bachata, Salsa solo and couple, Rueda de casino, Reggaeton.
