Un pò di storia

Dopo oltre 500 anni La Ragnaia, una delle più suggestive ville quattrocentesche fiorentine, immersa nel verde di un grande parco, è stata restituita all'antica tradizione dell'ospitalità.

Artefici della riscoperta di questo angolo di storia e di verde, a pochi minuti da Firenze, sono Remo e Laura Becheroni, che hanno saputo unire l'amore per la natura e per la tradizione ai gusti più autentici della buona tavola.

Grazie alla plurisecolare esperienza maturata nella secentesca osteria che oggi ospita il ristorante Gli Alberi, Remo e laura hanno trasformato i tre ettari di parco e l'antica villa della Ragnaia in un accogliente e prestigioso luogo per banchetti, meeting, cerimonie e - più semplicemente - per gustare una giornata tra la pace del bosco, il fresco di una sorgente e la inimitabile cucina casalinga di Laura Becheroni...

After more than 500 years La Ragnaia, one of the loveliest fifteenth century Florence villas, set in the midst of a large garden, has been restored to its ancient tradition of hospitality. The authors of this rediscovery of history and greenery, located just a few minutes from Florence, are Remo and Laura Becheroni. Togheter they have succeded in blending a love of nature and tradition with the most authentic tastes of fine cuisine.Thanks to the centuries long experience that has maturated in the seventeenth century tavern which today houses the restaurant Gli Alberi, Remo and Laura have transformed the three hectares of garden and the old villa of La Ragnaia into a welcoming and prestigious place for banquets, meetings, receptions, or merely, to enjoy a day in peaceful woods, beside a rippling stream – and Laura Becheroni’s inimitable fine home cooking.
