In December 2020, I found an unopened Arrow ball clock from 1982 whose motor didn’t work. I found Rick’s website through YouTube and got in touch with him. I chose the option where he repaired it rather than send the parts. My experience was fantastic; he responds promptly and is a pleasure to communicate with. I am delighted to have my the ball clock up and running for my son. Jake A. from Spokane, WA - Arrow Ball Clock. January 17, 2021

My step dad and I love to collect beer signs. I recently came across an Olympia Barrel, and Olympia Starburst sign. Both signs were not in working order and we were completely lost as how to fix it or where to start. Luckily, I came across Rick’s site. I emailed Rick not expecting much of a response or even at all. Rick responded immediately and was extremely helpful. As I was unfamiliar with these signs and motors I could have been easily confused (and was at times) Rick took the time to make sure I understood the parts and how they operate. Because of Ricks know how, continual contact, specific easy-to-follow instructions, and immaculate patience, I was able to swap out the motor gears on both signs and they are now in perfect working condition. Rick allowed me to have wonderful and meaningful experience with my new father in law and I thank him for his patience and genuine love for his work. Thank you Rick! Rick: First off your repair instructional video regarding repair of the Intermatic Motor is very well done! I have viewed many instructional and repair videos on various topic and yours is one of the most informative. Especially when you point out details...i.e. the lever position on the Lever Gear. The second that I picked up on was how to determine screw starting with a self-threaded screw in plastic....that was great. In my instrument repair/restoration experience, you learn these things and I do it instinctively even with non-self taping screws...this was one of the great points you stressed!

I received my parts and all seems to be working well.

Thank you again for the great instructional video and being a reliable parts supplier for these unique clocks. I will try to watch other videos you have done...one can always learn something new.

Take care and Regards, Ray K. from Ann Arbor, MI - Arrow Ball Clock. June 18, 2020

OMGosh, you are the hero in our house. I swapped out your motor, and the sign is working like a charm! We are so happy! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your assistance, your videos and helpful instructions. That made all the difference in the world. I bought a clock that seemed to need a shake every now and then to keep time. I opened the clock up to find the issue and since everything looked like it was working as far as the clock mechanism I decided to open up the motor. Something about the gears didn’t look right so I started to google the motor serial number and I found Rick’s Arrow Ball Clock Website. After watching his videos I was able to determine that there was a missing tooth on the lever gear. I emailed Rick directly and he responded instantly! A few constructive emails later I purchased a gear package confident that it would fix the clock. I installed the gears and now my roll clock works better than ever. I had no prior knowledge of motors, nor did I think I would be able to fix the clock. Thanks Rick for all your help! Brandon L. from New York, NY - Sankyo Digital Roll Clock. January 15, 2020

Got in touch with Rick after my daughter bought an Arrow Ball Clock at a garage sale. After determining that the motor wasn’t working, I looked for options. I ended up on Rick’s website and read all his notes and watched his videos. I got in touch with him and sent him the motor. The motor is now back, and the clock is running! The service and communications were outstanding and it is obvious that he knows his stuff. I would have no hesitation in recommending him at all. Thanks Rick! By the way – his video on motor testing and repair is excellent. His explanation of AC current with the example of a motor made the light go off in my grandson’s head when he watched it. To say the least Rick is very knowledgeable and awesome to work with! After speaking with him and ordering parts for the motor in my vintage beer sign, it still failed to work. I sent the motor to him as it was not running at all and he had it working in no time, all the while staying in contact with me on the progress. The personalized customer service I received is not readily found now days and his workmanship is top notch. I would definately recommend Rick and his business. Terry M. from ND January 23, 2018

To say Rick knows these motors would be an understatement, his intimate knowledge of how they operate coupled with how they are mechanically put together is as if he is the original inventor. Not only were the gears shot on my motor but the copper coil electronics wiring was broken as well, Rick was able to practically rebuild the entire motor which I thought would have to be scrapped and now it runs better than new! His communications throughout this process keeping my updated was very professional, I would give his prices and services a trusting 5 star rating.
