Clock N

For Sale: Clock N - SOLD

1978 Arrow Ball Clock. Works. Rebuilt Motor. Video! All cleaned and ready to use.

Color: Black

A Note: There is one gear inside the motor of all of these clocks that has disintegrated over time. The type of material it was made from in 1978 breaks down with age. It weakens and simply falls apart: Whether it was used or not. All of those original gears will fail when you plug the clock in, and the motor will not work.

So, even if you buy a brand new, never used, factory sealed clock: It will not work until you replace that bad gear. I know this from experience because I bought a factory sealed clock a while back and it happened to me (also).

I have replaced that faulty gear set with brand new gears; made from updated, modern materials. This clock works like new with those brand new gears.

This clock includes its original box, and the small pamphlet that came with these clocks.

The condition of this clock is outstanding!

All of the black plastic looks as new as it did in 1978.

I hand washed and dried the entire clock.

I re-did all the numbers and letters with an original crayon. They are all now bright white: Just like when the clock was brand new.

I replaced the balls with a set of brand new balls.

The dust cover is in immaculate condition! It is one of the clearest and sharpest dust covers I have ever seen. I cleaned and polished it. There are no chips, cracks, or major scratches in it. You will see in the video just how clear and reflective it is. There are a very few extremely fine scuffs on the backside of it. You will not see them as you look at the clock, and you wouldn't even know they were there if I didn't point them out to you. They are that minuscule.

The electrical cord is in great condition.

Considering how short a period of time these clocks were made: There are quite a few variations of the Arrow Ball Clock. One of the things I like about this version is that the dust cover goes all the way to the ground (most of these covers sit "on top" of the base). With the dust cover going all the way to the ground: It radically quiets down the noise made from the balls rolling and dropping (compared to the other type of cover). It is a much, much quieter clock. And, if you place this clock on a surface such as a cloth dinner placemat, it will make it even quieter. If you want the quietest Arrow Ball Clock you can get: This version is it.

This version of the dust cover is also slightly wider. That means it "clears" the clock's framework much better and I find myself bumping it against the clock itself much less often when I put it on or take it off. That means I am much less likely to put any future scuffs or scratches in it as I use it.

Also, just as a side note: This clock is a lot quieter than any of the "Time Machine" clocks.

I have carefully packaged everything to protect the clock and the dust cover. I have included my personal Checklist & Tips for unpackaging the clock, and "looking it over" to make sure everything is ready for you to plug it in and enjoy it.

I will ship this by whatever method you like: FedEx, UPS, or USPS; and “slower and cheaper” – or – “faster and possibly more expensive.”

However, I prefer to use FedEx. I have experienced some delays when using the USPS.

I do not have the option to offer you a shipping calculator in this listing; so, please write to me and get a quote from me before you make this purchase.
