FAQs for Applicants HERE
After Submitting your Application
Within a few weeks of the application deadline, the program admissions committee will review all completed applications.
MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling applicants will be contacted about the admissions committee decision to either recommend you for an interview or the decision to deny. Interviews are generally scheduled in late February. Attending individual and group interviews is an important part of the admissions process. Final decisions about admission into the program are generally determined by mid-March.
For the CGS Advanced Counseling program, you will be notified of the committee's decision to admit or deny. If admitted, you will receive information on how to contact your advisor to develop your plan of study.
From Application to Matriculation and Admission
Students recommended for admission will develop a MS Plan of Study or CGS Plan of Study with your advisor. This is generally completed shortly after recommendation for admission. A recommendation for admission is valid for 1 year. Please notify us of your decision so we can keep your records updated and plan for your start in the program.
MS students attend an Orientation meeting - generally mid-April. CGS students make an appointment with their assigned advisor
Matriculation occurs after your Plan of Study is approved.
