Why even attend tournaments?
Tournaments are fun and effective ways for you to improve as a debater. If they take place online, they're quite cheap and if they're in person, you get an excuse to spend a day or two with your friends! In all honesty, attending tournaments is a way for you to get quality feedback from experienced debaters and improve rapidly. Pretty good deal!
