Lakshikanta Laha Modak – 96.75% ; Lakshi’s application

Lakshi’s father(Jagannathbabu) is a sweet seller who sells macha, a traditional sweet of Bankura on the streets of Bankura. His mother is a housewife. Jagannath babu and his elder brother live together. After scoring huge marks he was left puzzled how to continue his studies. The teachers from his school helped him a lot by buying books for him and providing free tuitions.

 But he is still in dearth of money as he is taking two more private tuitions and still he requires buying some books and practical note books for keeping himself in pace with the school. Lakshi had applied to Tata’s (newspaper ad) for  scholarship long before but yet to get any response. He assured me that he will inform me as soon as he gets any information from the Tata’s. Till then he badly needs some economic help.
