HVAC Services we provide:
RFB DESIGN CONSULTING provides CAD drafting services for the HVAC / Mechanical Contractor to create a complete set of accurate, functional detailed, shop, coordination or as-built drawings. With 15 years of experience working inside the HVAC/Consulting engineering/Architectural and education industries I am able to create the highest quality shop drawings available. In addition to working on the engineering and architectural side of the business I have also had experience working in the Mechanical contractor field. This combined experience is what makes my drawings truly unique from other companies and provides you with drawings for the most cost effective ways to fabricate install service and balance your projects. For a top quality coordination drawing you need detailing done by a designer who has experience with the different facets of a HVAC project and all the other trades not just someone who has only learned how to drawing with CAD software with no experience of different types of building systems
Bim Services are on their way:
Building Information Modeling (BIM) or 3D modeling is the creation of parametric, or intelligent, 3D models instead of 2D perspective ‘un-intelligent’ drawings. A BIM operates on a digital database and any change made to this database is reflected throughout the entire drawing not just inside one page of a drawing. BIM drawings can be imported into Navisworks for collision detection for not only other trades but also the building itself. For BIM services I will be using the best mechanical industry standard AutoCAD products, AutoCAD MEP and AutoCAD Revit MEP for easy integration with other trades. This software gives us even more detail of the information inside our BIM drawings, this information can be extracted to provide detail material takeoffs for both fabricated and purchased items.

Why coordination drawings?:
Our goal is to provide the best mechanical coordination and shop drawings in the industry by having years of experience inside the HVAC industries producing your drawings. Having knowledge of plumbing/Electrical/Structural/Architectural among other building systems is a necessity for well done coordination drawings. A true coordination drawing professional must understand the entire building and the processes needed to complete a project from start to finish. This experience is what gives you a competitive edge with not only installing but also bidding projects knowing our experience will also help with managing a profitable project. If you spend $1000.00 on a drawing you should get $2000.00 in savings from coordination and material savings within that project. This savings is what gives the coordination drawings the extra value that help makes your company become more profitable and better organized.
