Please join us for this special event to learn how Texas is coming together to ensure all children can receive a shot of hope!
With decades of success improving childhood survival, RESULTS is effectively pushing back against the Administration’s cuts to global vaccine programs. Our Seeds of Hope Honoree, The Immunization Partnership (TIP), is leading the charge to protect children living in Texas. RESULTS and TIP share the conviction that vaccines are the greatest protection against childhood diseases — especially where there is inadequate access to health care and children’s immune systems are weak. But vaccines are under threat. Our work has never been more important than it is today.
RESULTS Houston advocates have seen how poverty and inequity impact lives in our community and around the world, and we know that together, ordinary people like us can create extraordinary change. A gift to RESULTS helps ensure that our voices continue to reach Congress, that global leaders hear the call for justice, and that the fight to end poverty grows stronger every day.
Unable to attend? Please consider making a meaningful donation today. Your tax-deductible donation to RESULTS Educational Fund supports our transformational advocacy, helps people lift themselves out of poverty, and saves lives. Thank you!
Ernie Manouse is the executive producer and host of the radio talk show Hello Houston, which dives into the stories that matter to Houstonians — from breaking local news to cultural happenings. For his numerous projects as an anchor and producer at Houston Public Media, he has garnered 11 Emmy Awards, 5 KATIE Awards, a Houston Press Club Lone Star Award, “viewer’s choice” recognition from multiple local and regional publications, and the title of “Ultimate Interviewer” from the Houston Chronicle. Ernie has also moderated numerous televised debates for council, mayoral, and U.S. senatorial candidates.
Terri Burke serves as Executive Director of The Immunization Partnership (TIP), where she leads efforts to rebuild vaccine confidence and advance sound public health policies in Texas. Drawing on nearly 13 years as executive director of the ACLU of Texas, Burke brings a wealth of experience in advocacy and nonprofit leadership. A key focus of her work at TIP involves partnering with community organizations, public health officials, and healthcare professionals to educate and empower vaccine advocates, driving positive health outcomes at both local and state levels.
Crickett Nicovich is RESULTS' Director of Policy and Government Affairs. She manages RESULTS’ relationships with congressional and administration offices and leads efforts to build champions among members of Congress through direct engagement and support for grassroots advocate constituents. She also advances our anti-poverty priorities by participating with and leading key advocacy coalitions and working groups, particularly on child health and vaccines.
