In environmental and resource economics, I study the impacts of climate change mitigation on energy resource use and on the (market) value of energy firms and their assets. In political economy, I examine the value of political connections for firms or board members, sometimes at the expense of society.
My goal is to produce policy-relevant research outcomes that are empirically-grounded and theoretically-sound. My research is question-driven: depending on the project, I rely on applied micro methods or applied theory, combining both when relevant.
Prior to joining Mines Paris – PSL, I was a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Melbourne. I also worked as a Research Fellow at the London School of Economics (Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment) and at the Ecole Centrale Paris (CGI). I hold a PhD and a master’s degree in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and a master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences-Po Paris, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay.
