I am an assistant professor at the Department of Artificial Intelligence. I was a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University and Research (WUR) from 2019 - 2023 and at the University of California Davis (UCD), California, USA. I was working as a scientist, at Innovation Lab, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Noida, India. I worked as a project engineer with Prof. K.S. Venkatesh at Computer Vision Laboratory at Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), India, . I did my PhD in the area of robotics, motion planning, machine learning at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, India under the supervision of Prof. Ashish Dutta and Prof. Bhaskar Dasgupta. I will remember this journey at IIT Kanpur through out my life.
Previously, I have received my M. Tech (2009) in Mechatronics from the Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST), India. I obtained B.Tech (2007) from Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering College (JGEC), India.
Apart from research, I am involved in various professional activities. I am a member of IEEE, ASME, IEEE Young Scientist. I served as the Head Student Section, UP State, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, India from 2013 to 2016. I was a member of Women Cell, Senate, HEC, COW, Rubic Cube Club in IIT Kanpur. I love to play Cards, Badminton and Swimming.
