The Reform Task Force Latvia (RTFL) is an international forum for politicians, economists, legislators, and researchers concerned with the evolution of Latvia's political and economic architecture.
The actual policy development work of the RTFL is done in its working groups, which are organized by topic into several areas (e.g., Finance and Taxes, Energy, Healthcare, etc.). Much of the work is handled via mailing lists. The RTFL holds meetings three times per year.
The RTFL working groups are managed by Group Directors, or GDs. The GDs are members of the Reform Task Steering Group (RTSG). Providing architectural oversight is the Political Architecture Board (PAB). The PAB and RTSG are instituted by the Harmony Center political alliance (HC) for these purposes. The Director General also serves as the chair of the RTSG and of the RTFL, and is an ex-officio member of the PAB.
First-time attendees might find it helpful to read the mission statement of the RTFL.
The official day of foundation of the RTFL is 20 June, 2009.
