The Mission of the Region 1 Club Soccer is to provide opportunities for participation in athletic sporting events, which foster the physical, emotional, social, and psychological growth of its participants. The Region 1 Club Soccer League is comprised of collegiate club soccer programs from across the New England and Mid-Atlantic states.

○ NIRSA National Championships Rules of Competition
Modifications for Region 1 Tournament:
Running time will be used throughout the entire tournament.
The referee has the ability to stop the clock at any point if the referee believes that a team is using an unsporting tactic to unfairly consume time or if an injury occurs that requires lengthy on-field medical attention.
All pool play games will consist of 40-minute halves separated by a five-minute halftime.
Quarterfinals will have 35-minute halves separated by a ten-minute halftime
Semifinals will have 30-minute halves separated by a ten-minute halftime.
Winners of Semifinals advance to Nationals
Teams voluntarily choosing not to play a game in the tournament will receive a one-year sanction (Not allowed in the 2026 Region 1 Club Soccer League or Regional Tournament).
The team will also receive a $600 financial sanction that must be paid prior to participating in future leauge play. Notice of this will also be sent to the institution’s club administrator.
