Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine starting July 1, 2025.
I completed my PhD in the Mathematics Department at Kansas State University in May 2023 under the supervision of Gabriel Kerr. My research areas include algebraic geometry, homological algebra, and symplectic geometry, with an emphasis on derived categories of smooth toric varieties and toric Deligne-Mumford stacks which are global quotients of smooth toric varieties by a finite abelian group. Since completing my dissertation, I've focused on applications of various resolutions of the diagonal for smooth projective toric Fano varieties to exceptional collections, and on enumerative invariants of derived categories such as Pandharipande-Thomas stable pairs.
