I have two different versions of my Calculus I materials. I have a set designed for a traditional on-campus course and one designed for an online setting.
Emphasizes physical science applications. Includes plane analytic geometry, differentiation, applications of the derivative, differential equations, integration and applications. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in MATH 1405 or 1450 or Level 5 on the Math Placement Exam or Math ACT of 27 or Math SAT of 600.
This set of course materials was designed for an Independent Learning Semester Based (ILSB) course. This is different from a purely online setting. The course is designed to deliver the same content and assignments but to students that will be learning on their own. Online homework itself is only a portion of the course. Students are still expected to submit written homework and take in-person exams facilitated by a proctor. This set of materials is similar to my materials for Calculus I in the On-Campus setting. It is organized into 11 different lessons. Each has a set of lecture notes, practice problems, and associated written homework. There are 3 exams and a cumulative final. (not posted here). The course is facilitated through WyoCourses, the LMS for the University of Wyoming which is built on the Canvas architecture.
