The "attached" set of Genasys 1996/1997 White Papers describe the design and functionality of the the "Next Generation" Version of the Gena suite of products. The first version of Genamap was designed in the 1985 and 1986 timeframe. That version evolved over the next ten years. Based on both experience as well as changing technology (such as the web), the Genasys team embarked on the a major redesign of the Gena suite of GIS products. These white papers are provided for both historical context but perhaps more importantly as a set of publicly released documents that can be used as potential prior art in patent litigation cases. All of the capabilities described in the white papers was implemented and deployed - I believe as version 10 of the software.
