Back to Firenze and already working. Vacation was too short but I am excited
to start the new academic year. Also will be traveling to Korea and Japan in a couple of weeks.
The dark matter/finite naturalness project is getting more and more interesting
and we discussed today with Oleg Antipin about dark matter candidates. It looks
very promising. Next need to understand the contribution to the Higgs mass from
loops of strong dynamics. The model independent two loop contribution boils down
to the two point function of a currents of strong sector. The contribution of the UV tail can be
controlled with the OPE and it appears to be negative. Still it is difficult to extract the "finite piece"
without a full knowledge of the function. Maybe this can be done at large N?
Tomorrow it will be time to get things moving with the composite 2HDM. Hope the students
have worked on it!
