Voting - March 10-17

As the Red Dots are a "children's choice" award, only students may vote.

To cast one vote students must have read at least three books in a category.

If they read six books in a category, they have two votes.

Votes are collected for one week.

Vote collection

How schools collect votes internally is up to them.

Schools may choose to use more than one method of collecting votes to tailor the process to the age of their students and time constraints. An individual online voting form (via SurveyMonkey) is available, perhaps preferable for older students. Votes may also be submitted via a block vote entry form (via GoogleDocs).

Each school announces their own winners in each category to their own schools. Those schools submitting their votes online are notified of their school totals by the committee.
