Process

Use the textbook reading, the PDF entitled “Reconstruction” at Edline, the library, Web links and videos on the Resource page to do your research. The three areas of study will be:

•the Reconstruction period (1865-1877) in American history

•the components of a healthy and stable society

•North Korea in comparison to South Korea

You will create a Google Doc entitled “Class Section (1-3) - your name - Report” and share it with your teacher. The Google Doc is where you will record your research and to write your Consultancy Report.

Your will use the Steps to Create the Consultancy Report document (attached at bottom of the page) which lists the steps/process to create the report to give to the Koreans. You will use the speech rubric (attached at the bottom of the page) in the creation of your speech. Your speech will be to a visiting group of Korean leaders and must be between 4 and 5 minutes providing information from your report. You may use note cards but will not be able to directly read your report. It will be an informative and persuasive speech.
