Only Jesus Can Satisfy You!
(Matthew 5:6 KJV)
(6) Blessed {are} they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
What do you hunger and thirst after? What are your motivations?
Are you thirsting for the right thing? Will it truly fulfill you or make you happy?
Is it Righteousness? Right living? What has filled you cup to satisfaction?
Be careful that you may be filled with nothingness, false hopes, illusions
False nourishment like junkfood, false sense of security
(Psalms 103:5 KJV)
(5) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good {things; so that} thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Is it good to say "look what I did for myself?"
Is it better to say "look what God did for me?"
Why?
(Psalms 107:9 KJV)
(9) For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
God is your satisfaction, He fulfills our longings and desires
We can not satisfy selfishness, selfishness never ends
(John 4:13-14 KJV)
(13) Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: (14) But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Rich men sing...I can't get no...satisfaction....but....
Jesus is a well spring of everlasting life inside you
Everything else dies or is dying...even you....but drink from The Well
There is no satisfaction in this life...but if you drink from The Well
He is a river of living water flowing from the inside of me.
You don't have to search for the river of life? the meaning of life?
Out of my belly flows rivers of living water...that's satisfaction
(John 7:37-39 KJV)
(37) In the last day, that great {day} of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. (38) He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (39) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet {given}; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
SOME PEOPLE SAY I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH JUST JESUS?
If you are not satisfied with just Jesus then that is a sure indicator that you are not living for Jesus. that you are then living for yourself. You have gone astray seeking to find pleasure in the temporary and unfruitful things of the world.
(Psalms 37:4 KJV)
(4) Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Do you TRUST JESUS that HE will give you what you desire?
Or Is Jesus taking to long? Let patience have her perfect work.
Patience is a process... a work...Patience is a part of your preparation.
WARNING - Don't go and get nothing without Jesus?
Everything we get is a problem....that needs solving.
If Jesus said go get it...then it is His problem and He will fix it.
If you left Jesus to go get it, then its your problem.
Adam and Eve where satisfied until Satan said they had a problem...
Satan had no solutions for them after they got kicked out of the garden
Don't allow Satan to dissatisfy your life with Christ.
(Joel 2:26 KJV)
(26) And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
Do you feel guilty or shameful for what you have?
Praise the name of the Lord for what He has done?
What God give you...will never bring you guilt
What God gives you ...will never bring you shame
Did it come from God? Or did you get it?
(John 6:35 KJV)
(35) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
You have a daily choice...
You can please yourself, or please God, but only one brings satisfaction.
Pleasing God cures the hunger of life
Satisfying the Savior quiches your thirst
Don't search for the meaning of life....He is the meaning of life
(Psalms 22:26 KJV)
(26) The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
The simple people shall live better then the rich...They have satisfaction.
You will shout praise when you truly find Jesus! Why????
You will live forever....Because HE IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE
(Joel 2:19 KJV)
(19) Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
After praying the Lord will answer you and send you a blessing of substance.
God will take away the embarrassment of lack in front of the heathens
Where God will sustaining you...not you...but God is sustaining you.
You shall be satisfied.
(Psalms 145:15-16 KJV)
(15) The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. (16) Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
Wait on God to give you your meat in due season, As a child waits at the table smelling that good chicken...Dad is cooking his best meal. You wait for him to finish cooking with anticipation until he serves you your plate. You don't ever bum rush the stove or leave the Lord's table to go eat some nasty fast food.
God feeds us a satisfying meal whom He has prepared Himself...Be Grateful.
(Isaiah 55:2 KJV)
(2) Wherefore do ye spend money for {that which is} not bread? and your labour for {that which} satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye {that which is} good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
People want to be satisfied...That's why we spend all this money?
Thats why we work on our jobs so hard?
But we can be wiser and eat from the Lord what is good...
This does not cost any money...God gave it freely
(Jeremiah 31:14 KJV)

(Isaiah 58:10-11 KJV)
(10) And {if} thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness {be} as the noonday: (11) And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
