10 Keys That Make Prayer Effective
1. Praying by Asking, Seeking, Knocking
"Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for.
Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and
the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives.
Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to
everyone who knocks. Matt 7;7-8
If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him. v11
2. Praying in Faith
Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it. Mk 11;24
3. Praying in Secret
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly.
Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you. Matt 6;6
4. Praying According to God's Will
And we can be confident that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. 1Jn 5;14
5. Praying in Jesus Name
You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it! Jn 14;13-14
