Currently I work as a Robot Control Software Engineer for Saga Robotics. The main part of job involves developing, testing and deploying new algorithms for robot trajectory planning aimed at autonomous fruit harvesting.

From May 2019-March 2021, I worked at Surrey Space Center as a Post Doctoral Research Associate on motion planning and control of robot arms in space. I was part of Future AI and Robotics for Space (FAIR-SPACE) Hub.

Prior to the above, I worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Computational Learning for Autonomous Systems (CLAS), School of Computer Science, University of Lincoln, UK, headed by Prof. Gerhard Neumann. The main focus of my work was on robot control, manipulation, motion planning by learning from demonstrations and end-effector design. Check out my IROS 2019 paper here, [video]

I have carried out my doctoral thesis work in Robotics and Design Lab, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under the guidance of Prof.Ashitava Ghosal.
