CICOFLA attempts to bridge the knowledge gap by informing government policymakers and the public. CICOFLA.com, a nonprofit, is currently under development.

LPBN a 501(c)3 nonprofit public benefit organization dedicated its services to getting individuals' and organizations' beneficial video content onto the web. LPBN secured grant funding from the Silicon Valley Foundation and event fees. Some of the significant events webcast by LPBN were WineConf 2002 from Michael Robertson's (founder of MP3.com) Lindows.com offices in San Diego, the Apachecon 2004 seminars from Las Vegas and the Spectrum Policy Moot Court debate between Larry Lessig, (founder of the Creative Commons), the Federal Communications Commission and private industry. "Valley Secession," To The Point with Warren Olney from the CSUN Campus 2001. Interviews by LPBN included Dustin Hoffman, Stan Lee, Peter Bart, Peter Guber, Olivia Wilde, Micheal Tiemann CTO Redhat, and many more. LPBN organized volunteers and had an office at the Center for Peace with Justice and the Arts in Venice California. Services provided required specialized programming on ten Linux servers at our three colocations.

Set-up, installed and sold web servers, name servers, firewalls, and routers. Created an off-site remote backup system. Operated a collocation in downtown Los Angeles. Built and operated several large websites and online stores. Maintained Mac G4s and a Power Mac G5 that was used as video editing workstations. Maintained, serviced and recommended for purchase Windows workstations. Setup configured and installed Linux servers. Provided off-site computer specialist services for a medical clinic, an architectural firm, a reprographics company and an HVAC engineering firm. Tecwise Inc. was a certified Novel Engineer, and Advanced Technology Partner of Bay Networks and Red Hat approved. Our software program solutions were small applications as required to enhance operations. Progam software services included Drupal, Gallery2, phpFox, CARMA, smarty templates, PHP, MySQL, Perl, and some C++ programming.

In-house computer network engineer for three offices and the design engineer for Aidco's clients. Designed network systems for fortune 500 companies, banks, hospitals and universities throughout California. Created Aidco Systems Inc., the systems integration sub-division of Aidco. Some of our customers were the University of Riverside, Concordia University, CalTech, Union Bank, Kaiser Permanente, St Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, CA., Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside General Hospital, Disney Worldwide Information and Network Services, the Friendly Hills Healthcare Network. 7-11 Stores, Smart and Final Headquarters, Ralph's Markets and many others.
Prior Work History
1975 - 1991
Began work at a machine shop in Pittsburgh, PA and continued working in various positions as a machinist, prototype machinist, CNC machinist, injection mold-maker and CNC machine shop foreman until the engineering department at ITT Aerospace Controls in Burbank promoted me to an injection-mold and tool designer. They later advanced me to a Management Information Systems assistant of their computer network. Some of the companies that I worked for in addition to ITT Aerospace Controls were Jet Propulsion Laboratories, Lockheed, and ITT Gilfillan.

Hobbies
Runs marathons and ultramarathons and a member of the LA Leggers.
