Food Work and Health Matters

Our most recent Project

Ray's Opportunities have provided six cylcles of ten workshops, focusing on the skills for independent living, which began in January 2017 and finished in November 2018. Alongside the workshops, participants had the support of a skilled mentor, who helped them to work towards their aspirations.

The programme worked towards four outcomes - better health, a better bank balance, improved self confidence, and being in work, whether paid or unpaid. The workshops were all active, participative and fun, with opportunities to work and learn together in a practical way.

This project was supported by the Berry Burn Community Fund.
