Gull Lake Results

On a breezy day with moderate temperatures, members descended on Gull Lake for their third tournament. Gull has been pounded by big tournaments, and the change of weather may have put the largemouths off their feed. Anyway, four of the top six catches were dominated by smallies, for probably the first time on a Gull tournament, though most of them came from Round Lake.

Jenny boated 14.88 to take first, closely followed by Jeremy with14.75. Steve Q pulled into third with 12.82 of largemouths, and Arnie took big bass with a 4.19 smallmouth. Perry took 4th and fishing with Jen; they coped the Partner Pot. With water temps dropping 10 degrees, all bass were successfully released, great job!

The next event will be Lake Inguadona in Longville on Aug.30, with a partner draw on Weds., 8/26.
