I would love two missing scenes and an alternate scene…
The first missing scene would be from when Sean hits the ground hard and dislocates his ankle, to when they make camp for the night and have to pop it back in.
They’re walking but Sean’s slowing them down, so rather than take longer Hank just picks Sean up and carries him, saying he’s slowing them down and they need to move faster.
Sean argues about being carried in front of a girl but eventually settles into it because his ankle really was hurting him and being carried really is much faster, not that he would let Hank know that.
The second missing scene (similar to the first), is after they split up and Hank and Sean head for the cliff to find the submarine, that’s a long walk for someone who can’t put any weight on their ankle even with his grandfather’s walking stick, so Hank ends up carrying Sean a few more times to get them there faster.
The last part isn’t so much a missing scene as a “rewrite” of the scene where they find the submarine in order to add more whump to it.
Sean runs out of air while they’re trying to get the hatch open, Hank has to get the hatch open on his own, pull Sean into the Nautilus, wait til the airlock clears, then perform CPR on Sean (just for good measure let’s thrown in a cracked rib from Hank doing CPR, cause I’m mean).
Maybe with a bit more carrying to get him inside the sub once he’s breathing again, with some post-“almost drowned but pretty much actually dead for a few minutes but we’ll agree not to tell your mother” blanket burrito-ing of Sean in the Captain’s chair, where he does the “I need you to come back to me” speech just before Hank goes out to get the charge from the moray.
Then it can continue as vaguely canon with the additional injuries, and the rescuing of the other from the sinking island. Sean sleeps most of the way back to the outside world with the others looking after him.
Another quick question in relation to the whole hurt/comfort thing?
How would you feel about writing man-carrying? I do love a wounded vulnerable hero being carried in someone’s arms <3
It would be the Josh characters being carried, in case you hadn’t worked it out already :)

Also, Alexander (Sean’s grandfather) was kind of a dick for most of the movie so let’s not include too much of him. Bare minimum we can get away with would be great.
I hated how he treated Hank (I’m sure it was out of jealousy but it was totally unnecessary.
Also, if the near drowning doesn’t work, we could always go with electrocution, if he’s touching something metal when the moray charges the ship and he gets hit with all that charge, that’d also stop his heart *ponders* which do you think works better?

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the outline I can absolutely work with that, there's nothing listed there that I wouldn't be able to write. And thanks for the images, that's really helpful
I think 3000 words should be a good amount to cover all three scenes. Personally I think drowning would make the rescue and CPR a little more dramatic as it could be dragged out more but I could do either if you wanted electrocution instead

Oh God Yesssssss (I'm a sucker for a drawn out CPR scene)
Hmmmm, what about doing both? We could do the drowning as part of this order, and the electrocution as a separate order? :)
I'm happy to pay the fee for you to watch the movie, thank you for that.
This is pretty much all going to be post-movie, I have at least two seperate working plot ideas I'd like to see written, if you're willing?
