In order for Current Seniors to try and qualify to earn a Cal Grant (Money for College)it is mandatory that your GPA be submitted electronically submitted by October 1st, to The California Student Aid Commission. We will be automatically submitting you’re GPA and no further action is required by you. However, if you do not want your GPA submitted, please have your parent/guardian come to the Guidance Office at RVHS to sign GPA Release Refusal Form. Please see Teresa Crozier, M – F 6:30am to 3:00pm, no later than September 15th. Please keep in mind, if you do not want your High School GPA released, you will forgo the opportunity to try and earn cash for college.


The California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE), formerly a graduation requirement for students in California public schools, was suspended Effective, January 2016 (AB 172). As a result of this law, students that graduated in classes 2006-2015 who met all other course and credit requirements will be eligible to receive their high school diploma. Please contact Mrs. Albright at ext 31150 to make arrangements to pick up your Diploma from Rancho Verde High School. Photo ID is required.

Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Rancho Verde High School Counseling and Guidance Department is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. School Counselors are professional school advocates who provide support to maximize student potential and academic achievement. In partnership with educators, parents, community members, school counselors facilitate the support system to ensure all students in RVHS have access to and are prepared with the knowledge and skills to be productive members of society.


Counselors are available before and after school and during both lunches. Students can also come into the Guidance department and request an appointment to meet with a counselor. ** During this time of Distance Learning, counselors are available through email or by completing the form link next to their name.
