Research interest

Currently working as a Research Associate at the University of Liverpool. My current research focuses on exploring new chemical space by designing and synthesizing small molecule toxin inhibitors for snakebite treatments. My previous research focused on the Asymmetric hydrogenation of N-heterocyclic compounds especially pyridines to get access to the highly enantioselective piperidines. Previously I have been working as JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at RCMS, Nagoya University, Japan. My research at Nagoya university mainly focused on the development of new asymmetric synthetic methodologies for the small molecule libraries using homogeneous catalysis and its application to the target-oriented multistep synthesis of life-saving drugs, complex bioactive molecules like Sphingosine etc.
