Technical Skills
Excellent knowledge and experience in synthetic organic chemistry on handling asymmetric reactions for the small molecule libraries using homogeneous catalysis and its application to the target-oriented multistep synthesis of life-saving drugs, complex bioactive molecules.
Extensive experience in intramolecular & intermolecular direct oxidative allylic alkylation; intramolecular & intermolecular asymmetric dehydrative Tsuji-Trost allylation; cross-coupling for the formation of C-C, C-hetero bond, C-H activation, transition-metal catalyst.
Expertise in carrying out milligram to large scale multi-step synthesis of API in a new chemical entity (NCE) discovery & development.
Excellent experience in synthetic reactions under air & moisture sensitive reactions using Schlenk techniques, glove box; also expertise in uses high-pressure reactor.
Expertise in handling instruments like Bruker NMR 400MHz, Jeol NMR 600 MHZ Agilent HPLC, GC-Ms, UV-Visible, FT-IR, GC-Ms, HPLC, Shimadzu AAS, Fluorospectrometer and Flame Photometry.
Excellent knowledge in structural elucidation and characterization of novel chemical entities using several spectroscopic methods like 1D NMR, 2D NMR, IR, GC-Ms LCMS, Single crystal XRD.
