Margaret Eddy graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Thomas Edison State University and a Masters of Arts in Music Education from Liberty University. Both degrees were received with high distinction. Outside of college and graduate school, her teachers have been Carol Eddy, Brittany Thomas, and Chris Rogers.
Margaret has played in numerous competitions, adjudications, and recitals, as well as accompanying several flute recitals, her church’s congregation, and local homeschool choirs.
As a performer, Margaret participated several years in Gig Harbor Music Teachers Association Adjudications in which she was selected for the Honors Recital in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, and 2016. She has participated in Gig Harbor Music Olympics and placed first in the Intermediate, Lower Advanced, and Advanced categories. She placed numerous years in the Gig Harbor Young Artists’ Competition, and in the Alliance of Church Musicians Competition, including receiving first place in the 14-16 age division of both competitions in 2013. In 2014, Margaret completed her Master’s Program year under Chris Rogers.
Through teaching piano, Margaret has been passing on her knowledge and love of music since 2009.
