I am at Zenuity working on perception algorithms for self-driving vehicles. Previously I was a researcher at the Robotics Institute from Carnegie Mellon University, working at the Robot Perception Lab with Prof. Michael Kaess.

I also held postdoctoral positions at ISLAB/CAISR from Halmstad University (Sweden) and at the MR&O Lab from Örebro University (Sweden). In 2013 I received my PhD degree in robotics from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).  I completed my PhD dissertation at the Institute of Robotics and Industrial Informatics (IRI), at Barcelona, Spain.  My research has covered different aspects of autonomous mobile robot navigation with a focus on perception problems (SLAM, Mapping, Localization, state estimation, active perception, planning under uncertainty).
