About This Site

The information on this site was first compiled when I (Rafael Gómez-Sjöberg) established a Microfluidics Lab at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), within the Engineering Division, to develop automated, microfluidics-based instrumentation for biological and biochemical applications in collaboration with LBNL and external researchers. I was in charge of that lab from May 2008 until October 2012, when I left LBNL to become Principal Engineer at Quanticel Pharmaceuticals. This information was generated both within LBNL and also when I was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the laboratory of Prof. Stephen Quake at Stanford University.

I keep this information available to the microfluidics community, but I will not be maintaining it in any way for the foreseeable future. However, I'm happy to answer questions and deal with printed circuit board requests for building the USB-based valve controller.
